How should I go about becoming a dentist/orthodontist? - orthodontist colorado

I always liked this type of field. Despite the amount of money you make, it seems something I university or career. The only problem, not so smart (not smart, SA, 1500). In principle, any advice to how to be a dentist or ortho to the average above-average students like me? What are the good universities (Colorado?)? Some general tips?
