Hhhm, you have my curiosity, so I did some research.
The only thing I had a tropical infection, see the attacks schistosomiasis.Its both kidneys and liver, is caused by flatworms more genus Schistosoma. Other tropical diseases like malaria and yellow fever, for "kidney problem only for kidney failure, but no infection of the liver.
