I heard a thermoelectric cooler in the refrigerator is like a refrigerator. Is that true? All I want to know is, what is the best fridge in my bedroom to be used. I want to be something to keep my cold food and drinks a large refrigerator.

I avoid thermoelectric whether to keep milk, meat and other products exposed to bacteria. I understand that "cold" without cold refrigerant only F 20-25 degrees below room temperature. So, if your room is 70 F then the milk to 45-50 F, far above the recommended maximum temperature for milk (40 F) hold. I stayed in several hotels recently with the energy of these "efficient" refrigerator and not in a position, a Coke at a reasonable temperature to obtain, even in the coldest setting.
While thermoelectric coolers are better than keeping a refrigerator (on your food at 50 F for an indefinite period), but they are safe as traditional food.
I have a small refrigerator for my office a few weeks ago. I have many reviews online and decided that the only safe solution with freezer (although I would not be likely to use). I guessed, must be an adequate model of advertising is a freezer, fresh milk, but not in a position to freeze anything really. I was PLEASED with it so far. But it did not take my sandwich to freeze Thursday, but I prefer a cucumber frozen milk be fatal.
I finished is 1.7 cubic meters, deep freeze $ 99 from my local Staples (that was not online). The brand is Haier. I have many bad reviews for this brand at walmart.com or target.com read (I do not know which one), but I think that retailers were only models without freezer. I do not know how it continues over time, but I guess I'll take one or two years beyond. For $ 100 you can not expect much in the way of longevity.
Lowe had a couple of compact refrigerators in versions 3.4 feet of a real refrigerator. They were a little more, I think it will take longer than the mini-fridge. But they could lead to big for a dorm room.
